Rent Crisis
------------------------------------------------------------------
05 / 06 / 08
We
ask the MEDIA to invite us to your shows to address this matter. Yes we are in a Rent Crisis a false Rent
Crisis. Landlords are allowed to violate the law. Rules and regulations set forth by the same boards that give them the green
light to raise rent
·
Rent Guidelines Board
· Rent Control Board
· Rent Stabilization Board
These boards must be dismantled. They raise rent with no hesitation, no concern
of public suffering.
In 2005 our party the Rent Is Too Damn High party and our candidate for MAYOR Jimmy McMillan was a success.
We received more votes as a new party than many of the well known parties. The Rent Is Too Damn High party is now in the History
books. In 2009 we will step it up a knot by getting elected, our time has come.
Freezing Rent / Reducing Rent / Cap on Rent to some is impossible;
to us it’s a walk in the park. This is our specialty and no one of the MEDIA has taken the initiative to contact us
by e-mail nor by Phone,
a. E-mail: rentisto@optonline.net
b. Phone: 347-715-3360
We ask that you the MEDIA can help the people
in so many ways you can play a big part in turning this City around. Think of your grandchildren friends and family struggling
to make ends meet, where will they live, where can they go, it has become unaffordable everywhere. The cost of living is forcing
many of our senior citizens to go hungry, and dying because of it. There are many areas we can cover if you only give us a
chance to be heard.
The public need help and they need it now we were there but…could not get the attention we needed,
the attention that would have turned this City around. Our agenda now is the same as it was then in 2005
Rent Is Too Damn
High
and there is
“Nothing Else To Talk About”
We have a critical situation
in New York, an unnecessary situation / uncaused
for situation, and a could have been prevented situation, cause by those who only wanted to be elected. Rent Is Too
Damn High.
Shame on the Rent Stabilization Board
Following the attack on the World Trade Center this Board has
1. Ignored the suffering of the people.
2. Ignored Landlords inflating
Rent
and
has allowed Landlords to Raise Rent with:
3. Violations
4. Failure to Register Building?
5. Failed to give interest from Security
Deposits to Tenants.
The
Rent Is Too Damn High Movement is calling for a:
6. Rent Reduction to buildings built before 2001 - $550 per month.
7. Cap on Rent to building
built after 2001 - $850 per month
8. Rent Freeze and Rent Reduction to buildings built after 2001
9. Mom and Papa
Stores & Businesses, Rent Reduce to Half ½ (for 8 years)
(To landlords who failed to meet the requirements
of being a landlord as listed above - 3, 4, 5)
Shame on the City of New York for not having a combatant plan in place. This plan would have prevented the opportunist from
capitalizing on the opportunity of Landlords violating Rent laws / Laws that has been on the books for decades.
Every law of:
a. Rent Guidelines Board
b. Rent Control Board
c. Rent Stabilization Board
Has violated Tenants Rights with the approval of the Judges in the Landlords Tenants
Court. The Greed and opportunity / opportunist include them all. The message must be clear if you take money from a tenant
for rent you are a landlord. For those who failed to report this money as income you are guilty of Tax Fraud, and we are coming
to get you. The Rent Is Too Damn High team has a complete package that will benefit Tenants as well as Landlords. 98% of landlords
in the Metropolitan area is and has violated the followings boards listed above, laws that has been on the books for decades.
The Rent Is Too Damn High movement
will begin mobilizing our campaign in early July’08.
Enough is enough. We ask the MEDIA to give us a chance to be heard. Our Housing Homeless Emergency Bill
is a “Stimulus Package”. This City is only suffering from no more than the lack of leadership.
No one can address this issue of what to do and how
to solve or resolve the Rent Crisis better than us. Please, Contact us
